FANCY A BIT OF HISTORY?

One of the most frequently asked questions by my pupils is why some English words are so similar to French. Well, as I haven´t got much time during my lessons to explain the influence of the Norman Conquest in Britain, I´ve decided to do it through this blog.
I´ve found a great site in which you can find out plenty of things about the Norman Conquest and its influence in a very easy and enjoyable way.
Try the quiz and learn as much as you can!
